Sony Electronics Partners with VDCDS & Scalable Display at I/ITSEC 2014

Scalable Display Technologies, a leading provider of display calibration software for military simulation display systems, VDC Display Systems, a Video Display Corporation company and a leading provider of simulation displays and Sony Electronics, manufacturer of the compact form factor VPL-GT100 4K projector, today announced their collaboration at the I/ITSEC trade show. VDCDS will use Scalable Display Managerâ„¢ software for automatic warp and blend with two blended Sony's VPL-GTZ1 4K laser ultra short throw projectors producing a full 8K x2K targeted at the simulation and Command and Control markets.

VDC Display Systems, a division of Video Display Corporation (NASDAQ:VIDE), announced it has completed the initial delivery of Video Display Units (VDU) for the US Army Common Driver Trainer (CDT) Program to Raydon Corporation of Port Orange, FL.
As part of this effort, VDCDS developed and delivered a number of rugged High Resolution Visual Display Systems (HRVDS) for use on CDT systems for Tactical Wheeled Vehicle Variants. for the Army’s Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation's (PEO STRI).
